While we are the subject of shooting abroad,how do you go about getting your gear thru customs and do you have to tell them about pressurized cylinders,and that you,ve got what suspiciously looks like a real gun as our team are going into europe next year and would like to be informed/prepared.....?thanks for any help...brian....bunker monkey 4 red heat...

cylinders

all tanks or sealed vessels need to be open to atmosphere. Like unscrewing the bottle from the reg, opening the valve.

tehy didnt care about the paintball marker when i brought it back from the us. as long as it aint in your carry on **** and u tell um at the checkin desk. But that was before the whole september the llth thing so dont count on it.

I went with Air France to Toulouse. Didn't tell them I had paintball gear in the bag but it did have a copy of PGI in the bag at the same time - saves a lot of time and unecessary questions. However, the girl at checkin (pretty darn good looker too;) ;) ) asked if I was going for the paintball.
