I've bought a flatline barrell for my tippy, not put it on yet.. I have read many comments on what people think about it good and bad.

I would like to have comments from players who have used it on a regular basis to tell me what they think of it and what tips they have got for using it and maintaing it. What is a good setting for bps (is that the right word) I've read from 250 upto 300.

think you mean FPS (Feet per second) BPS is Balls per second.

Usually you set it as close to the site limit as you can get, accounting for spikes in pressure etc. Though if you have a flatline barrel you could easily set it lower than the site limit (so you dont get chucked off the site) and get nice long shots.

Usually the site limit is between 250 to 300fps (like you said) though indoor places have theirs set to around 200fps.

well from what i have aquired about my vast and useless knowledge of paintball is this, 280fps seems to do the trick. you get up closer to 300fps and it seems to curve erracticly after about 120ft. any slower and well, you get the same effect at 280 but with less distance and of course much slower balls.
