fitting regs to bottles??

never loctite a bottle to a reg
just screw it on, simple as that
the air pressure holds the bottle on. i cant say how i know, but its extremely hard to even budge a bottle when its under 4.5k of pressure...

Just screw the bottle straight onto the reg. All the way.
ONLY HAND TIGHT............
The pressure in the bottle will hold it on the thread. Sounds daft, I know, but that's how it works.....
Just make sure that the 'o' ring thingy is on there between the bottle neck and the reg. If you do it right, you wont be able to see the 'o' ring once you have screwed it all the way.......

DEFINITELY NO THREADLOCK OF ANY SORT..!!.
It stays on by the pressure inside the bottle. Don't put any grease on the threads either, unless you have specific grease designed for high pressure air.
If you use threadlock, you will not get it tested when you need to.

As this is an angel air thread... Do any of you lot know the retest interval for a WDP AIR bottle? I got in touch with H-Pac who said if it's Luxfer or SCI it's a 5 year interval for the first test and then 3 years. Any other makes is three years from the off!
