Fitting an elbow onto front reg.

Right, so to make my marker working all I need is to put an elbow onto the front reg.

Few questions - first, how tightly do i put screw it on?
second - Do I need to secure it in any way, loctite/ptfe?
Third, is PTFE alright or does it need loctite, if so what strength?

Think that's it - any tips or advice when fitting would be nice too.

macro fittings need to be tight but so that you are able to get them off again but if you use locktight or ptfe tape finger tight will do the job

some fittings already have enough ptfe on them already so its worth screwing it on tight and see if that seal first time, rather than buying ptfe tape or locktight when you don't need it

however if it doesn't seal the best ive found is BLUE locktight, you only need a drop for it to seal, do not use red! if you do it will need a blow torch to get it off again
