Fitting a gauge to a reg

Have I fluffed it up ?

Well I have had to fit a new 5000psi gauge to my bottle reg .... So I've put a drizzle of Loctite 243 on the threads I realise its not the strongest of the loctites but i've tightened it up gently using clamp wrench just snug tight .... i'm planning on using it sunday ..

Not that I'm paranoid or anything just want to check Ive done things correct...

i would be paranoid, compressed air scares the **** out of me, well dodgy compressed air, just think about it a tank filled with 5000 psi air is like have 4 lb of dynamite under your arm..............

Ohh I'm well aware of the dangers..Hence the thread i've placed here for feedback etc ....

sounds good, when you fill put a couple of thousand psi in and check it for leaks around the thread of the gauge.
If ok then take it up to 3000, then 4500.
