first marker?!

i want some opinions on a choice for a first marker please people?!

ideally i dont wanna be spending too much obviosly so looking for second hand gear!!
my only real criteria as such is that its on air!
i've played with an impulse a few times and have to say i loved it!!
what do people think of this compared to, a pirahna evo? or an evil pimp or similar?

if anyones got an immpy for sale feel free to let me know!!

The impulse is a bt old these days, but still nice.

Consider an ion. Cheap, small, light, loads of upgrades available for however far u wanna take it, and so simple to strip. I taught my ex girlfriend to strip mine and clean it.

yh mate u defo wanna get an ion i have had mine for about 4 months and had no problems with it they are easy 2 clean and had no problems, only problem is that whoeva decided on designing the marker so you can change the colour did not think about making the covers easy to put on, it may take a while but that is the onli prob with it

You playing tourney ball or woods? IONs are good but only if your not a muppet (this is not directed at you mate ) but alot of people by them and don't learn how to basic tech the gun or take it apart and can't put it back together or do it wrong etc . . .

I would head towards to promaster and ask the tigers very nicely for a reflash of the board as a promaster comes as a much better package than the ION. Personal pref on an ION is that it needs a new trigger, oops, feedneck and a better barrel (CP).

e1 and e2 cockers are going very cheap......they costed about 1000 quid new~!

Hi dude,

I'd go for an angel, mainly cuz of,

1) You can pick up an 05 Speed for around £200

2) You won't need to upgrade anything to make it rip

3) They are very low maintenance

4) It'll keep up with the Ego's, DM's n whatnot

and 5) It's way better than an Impulse, Evo and Pimp
