That's what I mean. Get it second hand and you're in good shape...it just sucks to be the person selling one. In fact very few paintguns don't come up as a big loss on depreciation, to the point that it's painful to sell them and really not something you want to do in most cases anyway. A Mag is a great stepping stone provided it is clearly understood to be that and nothing more. However, you lose a bit of familiarity with your equipment by buying something that you intend to switch out of more than once: you get your experience in with a gun which serves you in your later, bigger, more competitive games. It's far better to be playing the tougher games with something you're more familiar with than something foreign. You'd be best in that case to play slightly lower competition level games with a new gun, but then by doing so you'd be losing time. Life is short and opportunities for advancement narrow, so in light of that I'm just suggesting that you get something closer to what you're likely to use later on, which if you're going any kind of distance with it a Mag likely won't be part of that.
