First marker purchase

Thanks for the replies guys I was leaning towards the etha and the general opinion on here seems I was going the right way now to choose a colour

there both really good guns, the ehta is a little bigger i believe, the mini gasses up through the grip, where the etha has a macro line. the mini could do with adding a on/off asa, where the etha already has it. if your buying new, id say etha, if your buying 2nd hand possibly the mini, as there plenty and extreamly reasonable on the 2nd hand market.

Neither is better than the other. People are basing their opinions on which they have owned, and what they have read.

Both guns will shoot 10.5bps at a consistent rate, both guns have a barrel, eye system, simple bolt system, boards and batteries. Both guns have Millennium settings, which are the same for both markers.

Basically, what Im saying is, which ever one you pick up and feels right in your hands, is the gun for you. They are both as reliable as the owner, and both companies have well stocked customer service teams and an office in the UK.

mini over the etha all day long, its a no brainier, the only reason anyone would pick the etha is for the PE badge.

honestly look at something like an etek 3 or 4 as mentioned earlier, much easier to look after, better on air, bolt straight out the back if you break a ball in the breech, there just a cheaper ego.

i've been looking at my first guns and everyone i spoke to has recommended the etha as they have played with and prefer it it so that will be my choice of gun

Mini gets my vote I've got a brand new 2013 model they rock! Few trigger bounce issues but they are worth it

But depending on your budget depends on what you can get really, if your going for a second hand marker then you can get mini really cheap.

But for say £200 you can get a second hand ego8-9 and they are a lot more for your money than a mini

Planet eclipse has the best after purchase care for there customers and they really look after there customers

My votes would be for an ego8-9 or etek 3-4 if you have a little more money to spend i your on a budget a mini is amazing for the price and shoots really well,

The other one to suggest in this range is the valken proton but seems to be very mixed reviews on this a bit of a mystery around a leaking issue under extremely heavy use currently around £260. Have had the PE etek and would say with Planet you get fantastic service if you have any problems

As title suggests looking too buy my ffirst marker I have tried both markers and can't decide which to get. They are both within budget and both felt good to use, basically other than astethics is one better than the other here are the options:

1. Empire invert mini

2. Planet eclipse etha

I personally would reccomend Etha unless you have pretty small hands, but i know lots of people swear by their minis as fantastic markers.
