I have an etek2 and an invert mini

My etek fired an awful 1st shot but then every shot after was perfect
But
My mini has an awesome 1st shot and a near dead 2nd shot

I found out my dwell was to low for the etek, but for the mini could it be to high?

As Ricki says always use good quality Akaline batterys, Duracell,Procell,Enegizer. Before changing any settings or doing anything else to a gun just change the battery to rule it out.

New quality brand battery first as already been stated by previous posters.
If that does not help, check what dwell and FSDO settings are at and report back.

Make sure you are using the correct lube for the etek, grease inline reg, oil in rammer. Check for small leaks.

If your Mini does not have an OOPs , make sure your bottle is screwed all the way in.

What batteries are you using? Most paintball guns are very fussy on battery type.
Im using good old duracell

i put in a brand new duracell when i noticed the the balls dropping after 1st shot and it still drops with a new battery

My etek has been sorted my dwell was to low so i put it back up and its fine now.

What should be the ideal settings i should have the mini at? I think the reset button on mine is missing so not sure what settings it originally was

Thanks for the posts guys, appreciate it

If i can remember right, i think the stock dwell on the mini should be 9ms maybe 10ms (refer to the manual)
I can remember each flash indicated was at 0.25ms.
so to get a dwell of 9ms, you would need 36 flashes on the dwell indicator.

Someone correct me if im wrong, its been a long time since i owned a mini.

yes, just checked. Assuming you have all stock parts, have your dwell settings on 36-38 flashes (38=stock)
I remember having mine on 28 flashes without any problems (but every marker is different)

Stock is 28 flashes.

Assuming you have the stock board, take the battery out and wait for 30 seconds and the board will reset to default settings. Default is great. But you can use 35ish dwell no problems.

This sounds more like the bottle isnt screwed in enough though. Or is there something stopping air flow? Like an oring in the cavity where you screw the bottle in? Or are you using an extender of some sort?

As soon as ive finished playing i remove the batteries from all my markers. So if the reset happend when i removed it from my mini it should have gone back to original by now.
Im going to be adding the on/off ASA soon, will see if that changes anything as i dont like that the threads can by ruined by the tank and also ruin the tank
