Well after skillfully missing my flight monday im finally home :) i cansee whats bein said :) I hope everyone who played on the EXL field enjoyed themselves for i certainly did.I have never seen so much clean play by every team that played. In over 10,000 points of paintball ive had to ref ive never witnessed such good play and sportsmanship.I never had a issue with over shooting which is comonplace in the NXL.I very rarely had to pull a player out with a obvious hit which is oh so comon in the NXL.We only had 2 illeagle markers 1 shocker 1 angel .Ive never had more polite coachs and players to deal with you all were wonderful to work with and hopefully we can do it again :)
Im not sure if any of you knew but Travis Day of Aftershock was one of your refferees on the EXL field and he did a great job layin on the inside. The other NXL referee Leon Miller was helpin me on the hollywood tape.I want to thank Jamie my referee who mirrored Travis at the X and is one of the best refs ive ever had the pleasure of workin with.On the Taco dorito or teabag side :) that teabag kills me :) i had what i liked to call my Finnish line workin that tape and they did a excellent job there besides havin to drive a scoreboard from finland patrick and crew great job :) I also had the pleasure of having a swedish gentalman workin the hollywood tape and i forgot his name in the fog of the 'Dam he did a great job and if i get my way this will be the reffing crew of Oslo :)Id also like to thank steve and his son for a great time and all the help they provided.
All and all it was a great trip and a great time i enjoyed meeting all of you and i thank you all for the education about europe being that it was my 1st time there and hope you all want me back there :)

Back from the Dam.

You can come back anytime Boogie, not only were you good, you were entertaining as well.:D Your guys worked as a team something we try to install in all the Judges (sorry Refs) we train with.
We had no complaints but if we did you were the man to take it on the chin. I still think the "Alan" incident was the best I've ever seen but at least you had the balls to come up and apologise rather than try to make up some lame reason to cover it.:D
Hopefully see all your guys in Oslo.
P.s The coffee shops in Amsterdam aren't like the ones in the US, if you ask for a tall, skinny lattee you might get more than you bargained for;) Might explain your inability to get on a plane.

Nick i belieive that Mr Morris made that call i didnt see what happened but aparently one of your players went nose to nose with leon screaming and shouting. Now there is only so much yelling and screaming about a bad call before a line is crossed.Mr Morris deemed that your player crossed that line and after talkin it over with leon Mr. Morris made the right call and Nick a 2 min penelty is a mere slap on the wrist and your team is good enough to handle a 2 min .
I do suggest that you only let your coach or captain do the venting on the judge and if a player wants to yell at a ref after the game dont go nose to nose with him this isnt MLB ( major league baseball) give the ref a few feet of space and try not to curse too much . I also would serch me out to do the yellin for i have a very thick ass to chew on :)
I hope that is clear enough nick and i hope to you and the boyz in Oslo tell them i said hi :)

What dont you understand Nick? How can you possibly complain when you verbally insult a member of the judging staff? What did you hope to gain?

I noticed in Paris that you were quick to vent your frustration on anyone that would listen, why dont you just keep quiet, as venting anger will not change anything, and only get you a bad rep.

Well Mike

There is a flip side to that argument Nick. A good player knows the rules, and does not push them too much.

Are you stating on a public forum that you believe that the intimidation and abusive language some players give judges is ok?

Oh c'mon Nick, just because Sam's a young'un, doesn't mean he can't have an opinion (or yank a few chains ;)).
I also feel that Boogie does not contradict what he said in the past, as Sam has pointed out.

Personally I feel that if you get in a ref's face, particularly with insults, you get your butt kicked.
But I am used to that from my football days... (Not soccer, they have gay refs that refuse to penalise bad behavior). As far as I'm concerned we need more ass kicking judges.

I do think it is really strange that this penalty is carried into the next match though...

For those of you who are wondering what the Allen incedent was is that in a moment of sheer idiocy i pulled allen out for a penelty against the other team :( fourtanatly it was with 6 seconds left in the 1st half.Fourtanatly after explaining to both allen and his coach what had happened they were kind enough to understand and not let it bother them too much.I did buy allen a few beers to make up the the mistake but in hind sight it is funny now :) Steve , Allen thanks for being so understanding in that situation and i hope not ever to have that happen again :)
