Filming of the EXL

Looking at the MS site, it says that:

"Filming on or from outside the EXL fields is strictly prohibited".

Does this include EXL participating teams filming the event for training purposes? And any teams for that matter, as there are always cameras at events capturing game footage.

I imagine it precludes everyone - good news for the Russians, cos people will have to stop blaming their camera guy and his pesky spycam...

Do they have the same filming rules in the NXL? Because there are some Xball videos doing the rounds on sites based in the US. Or is that a case of the sneaky cameraman escaping the watchful eye of the Dick Clark production people?

With the filming taken away from them, the Russians are gonna have to find another way of telling the guys with the ear implants whats going on.......hang on........maybe the coach could do that?

I reffed two days of NXL at the Cup and I noticed the conspicuous absence of video cameras. There were some still camera photographers but I was surprised there weren't some big cameras getting multiple angles.

I think the idea presented on the Millennium website has to do with our efforts to sell the broadcast and distribution rights to some "big fish". We can't very well sell exclusive rights if they aren't really exclusive, can we?

Just a word of warning: We are hiring Lane Wright as security against anyone who dares violate our filming/video recording rules .

Lane's strong arm tactics may work in the States, but somehow i doubt the old bill will appreciate some yank punching out photographers when the EXL comes to London...
