Hi guys,
I have a fill rig but when I connect my angel to it, it doesn't seem to fit right. There seems to be loads of movement in the connection and when I try to fill my bottle, the air hisses out the sides.
Does my angel air have the wrong fitting or is it my fill rig? Hope someone can help me out:D,

Cheers guys,

Simon.

It sounds like the fitting is not sealing on the fill nipple. inside the fill rig fitting there should be an o-ring that is pressed on by the air's fill nipple, this may be broken or even missing.
There could be another reason, the bottles fill nipple may have got burred from use. This stops the fill rig clamping on the nipple, check that the collar on the fitting of the fill rig is closing back over when you connect it.

If you need a chat, give me a ring on 07773 364246.

Hi tom,
Thanks for that, just looked and there's no o-ring inside the fill rig fitting. Will it be easy to get hold of one n if so, any idea where to get one?
All the best,
Simon.

I've probably got them here, as i stock a good range of o-rings. Can you take a pic of the fitting so i can identify it.

Here's my e-mail addy, i2i@ntlworld.com

Or send the fill rig to me and i'll size and fit the o-ring and test it for you.

doh

Hl tom

Looked through my spairs n found one that fits.
The only problem now is that the air is escaping from the safety vent on the air reg. The safety vent seal looks ok and so does the leaf spring and I cant tighten the screw any more cuz i'll end up rounding it. Any ideas?
Sorry for the hasstle mate.

You may have the air set to high, wind the screw out a bit.

The safety vent is designed to vent at around 850psi. If you can't get the pressure down, or it creeps up slowly, it will need a service. £15 + p/p

Simon, Tom's the man with these sorts of things, don't risk anything with high pressure - just send it to him to fix - worth every penny :)

I bought the air off the forum but it didn't come with a manual. Have looked on the wdp site for a download for it but there doesn't seem to be one.
I have no ideas bout any adjustments so I think its best to get it serviced. Where would I have to send it?
Cheers,
Simon.
