fill nipple replacement

Never had this problem before so not too sure on the best thing to do. I have a pmi 5k bottle ( fibre wrap ) went to fill up at last genesis event and it wouldnt, now the guy who was supervisin the fill station said its the nipple. Firstly the bottle was very very hard to get onto the fill station it almost seemed as if the nipple was too fat ( lets not have any inuendo's eh ) and wouldnt fit on properly. When we finally got it on the fill station we filled it to 1k psi and the air just pissed out back into the fill station. Luckily our team had a spare 3k bottle i could use so the day wasnt wasted. Still i wanna get my bottle sorted so i can use it at our next event.

Sorry for long post but thought it was best to give a detailed description in order to get a faster response.

It is going to be a replacement fill nipple, do you feel happy about replacing it yourself, as you can buy them from most paintball shops.

if its safe for me to do then yes, if it means waiting 2 weeks though ide rather send it off. Can't be too careful with anything these days. Rather have it done right so its safer for myself and any other ballers stood behind me at the fill stations lol

I think it's easy to do, but then i've done loads. If you're not confident with it, most of the big shops can do it for you.
