Fill nipple replacement

one of my tanks is leaking out of the fill nipple it seems that the metal bit (in the nipple) isnt sealing when i purge after filling it i took it apart and cleaned it last time and it stopped the leak for about 4 fills, i think i need to either replace completely or lube the o ring ..this is the question ..do i lube the o'ring with shocker lube or summat ?...3 in 1 maybe

if its leaking, open and close the air valve then purge, a couple of times after filling. usually sorts it.

Yes mate, just replace the o-ring...

Also...turning teh o-ring round (as in back to front) can help in the short term

i bought a CP fill nipple once brand new in packet and i didnt take it apart but i coulda sworn it had pink looking lube such as dow 33 on it

whats up with that?
