Hi guys,

I've played paintball several times before and really enjoy the game. Looking to play in London and somewhere to learn or train, but I have no gear at all. Any advice on where and when I could play? Also since it's a "male-dominated" sports, would be nice to play somewhere that's female friendly!

Cheers!

hi guys,

Thanks a lot for all the replies! I've just dropped Yorkie a message and I'm based in Central London.

Thanks dingle also for the link to the Samurai thread, I'll ping them an email.

Hopefully I'll be playing soon! =)

Good to hear, you could also register on the Samurai team site:

I'm sure Darren (Samurai Team coach) will point you in the right direction, good luck, and I hope to see you on the field...

what budget do you have to get your own gear??
First i would look for a mask, thats the most important thing, Get one that fits best, Then buy a marker, i personally would go for a bt combat, or a tippman a5, bit others will disagree.

I think before buying anything contact Darren, Samurai team members have spare gear that you could use if needed, it's better to try a range of markers, and get a feel for the game before spending money on gear that you may not need.
