feedneck on a dm6 stiff

need to get off the standard feedneck.from my DM6 and have done the noram thing of putting a knife in the groves.and i can get it to break the seal.now do i heat it ? if so how. and no i am not putting it in the microwave

any ideas

when i had to remove the one off my proto, i put a hopper in and clamped it down, then heated the feedneck with the wife's hairdryer and then turned the hopper and it came out a peice of phish

this always works for me. Get a strip of hardwood or something similar, place it squarely on top of the feedneck, then tap the top of the wood with a hammer while trying to turn the feedneck. This usually breaks the seal and the feedneck comes off really easy
