Fatal Paintball?

On the top row there is a video about how fatal paintball is and aparently the US government is launching an investigation into the safety of paintball. I thought it was funny that they were talking about CO2 when the people they were showing used HPA.

I clicked on the same thing as I showed in the first post, however it's not working anymore for me either. I guess maybe it let me view it the first time as a trial.

Basically, it was just talking about how the paintball industry claims it to be a safe sport, but last week a woman was killed after a game when something happened to her CO2 tank (it didn't go into detail). Because of that the government is going to investigate the safety of the sport.

It seemed to look on paintball as very bad and dangerous. It also talked about the sport with the words of something like, "Paintball it a war game where players pelt each other with painfull pellets filled with paint." Something like this on a station like ABC might make a lot of parents think twice before they let little Timmy go out for some rec ball next saturday

Typical reaction......... but someone was killed and it was a needless death....... it wasn't a freak sporting accident or a medical complication or a knock in a contact sport. It was a stupid death caused by someone not knowing what they were doing, or bad equipment failing (still not clear whether it was an idiot unscrewing bottle from valve or a bottle failure)............ it was pointless and either way it could have been avoided.

Come on, honestly......... how many times have you seen someone about to unscrew a valve? or filling a bottle that's not locked on....................... or even filling an out of date bottle from a dive tank? it happens all the time.......... we have no respect for our kit and some of us don't have a clue how dangerous it is.
Accidents are starting to happen now................ maybe they are ahving a kneejerk reaction. But I'm not sure how you can over react to a woman being killed by a huge blow to the head in front of children.
