Sorry to disillusion you MrFixit, but on my electro, when the trigger bounces I get the same number of shots as the trigger makes "on/off" movements, just like on the RT.
From the millenium series rules (version 2b April 2002 - the latest as far as I'm aware).
=====================
5.23 The definition of a trigger is the movable lever or button that comes in contact with the finger. The
contacts of a switch will not be considered to be a trigger. A trigger pull requires an exertion of force by
the finger on the trigger and a release of force by the finger on the trigger during every firing cycle.
Markers may fire at any rate of fire, and may shoot any number of paintballs, provided that no more than
one burst of gas is delivered down the barrel as each pull of the trigger occurs.
=====================
I think there is a heck of a lot of discretion goes into the judgement of whether a trigger is deemed illegal or not - if the marshal can't make it bounce, then it is legal - it would obviously be impossible to state "marker X" is illegal due to trigger bounce, due to the vast number of ways there are of setting up a trigger - on the RT you can run it at a lower pressure, and it acts like a standard mag, with no bounce. On electro's, the length of the triger travel can affect the "bounciness" of the trigger, so it must be down to the individual marker.
At the end of the day, the millenium series isn't much stricter on the rules than any other tourney you'll play (whether they think so or not).
