It is a sad day. The best player in the world has fallen (Hopefully not for long). PGI and Flashpoint's own TJ Lambini is in the hospital. As most of you know, he was supposed to make an appearance at the Diablo Cup and play with the p8ntballer.com team. He arrived at a London Airport Saturday afternoon and he was ready to roll. Unfortunately, it seems his mouth got the best of him (that is what we are guessing) and he got jumped and rolled in the airport parking lot. He is in a London hospital at this time where his inuries are being assesed. At last update, he is in stable condition. As we hear more, we will update you all. Keep him in your prayers.:(

Sad Day

The Diablo Cup was a first class event, the delay at the start of the day resulted in the crowds being unable to see the top teams play in the finals. The crowds also missed out on another "treat"

I was sworn to secrecy - but I can now announce that TJ had contacted the organiser Jon Payne last week and asked if prior to the final he could "streak" down the main playing field (Jack Wood style)

The "thugs" at the airport robbed the UK paintball scene the chance to see the best known moderator in the "buff".

Get well soon

Steve

PS it would have been a very slow run due to the mud:D

Yeah get well soon TJ.

I was so disappointed not to have met you in the bar Saturday night and had to make do meeting the other P8 legends!!

Cheers for the Zambuca guys I think it helped my game Sunday.

Just managed to get all the mud off of me. It was a great day, always is when we come 'up north'.

Well done to Redz and a big well done to my team mates in Redz Novice. You did good! I now have my ultimate paintball accessory, a boys team to play with when I want!!

Rumours of TJ's demise

Have thankfully been greatly exagerated. He is not - repeat not - in a coma, but he was out cold for a little while. I spoke to him this morning just before he flew back, and he asked me to pass on his sincere apologies to his legion of fans and to the team. He feels especially bad that the team had to play Sam Keats up front - a woefully inadequate replacement in TJ's mind for his own masterful skills.

In a triumph for British justice, however, police have arrested two 13-year olds, who were found trying to pawn a signed photo of Nikki Sixx and some love beads with TJ's name on them...sadly, charges have not been pressed as TJ insisted that he was attacked by 8 triads armed to the teeth with nunchaks, Bowie knives and pistols, and he suspects some sort of British Government conspiracy as he claims to have 'totally wasted' seven of them before slipping and banging his head.

I'm gutted,

I was meant to be picking the dude up on Friday at the airport but he phoned me earlier last week to say he had some "business to take care of, family style" in the big smoke and would make his own way in - now he is probably mentaly scarred for life by the whole ordeal.

2 13yr olds, damm that's gonna suck when we all bag on him about it :D
