just went to see the chick flick, with ball in it,i will get the piont, they showed a really nice X BALL set up,and then they showed the lead girlie shooting someone in the safe zone with a live marker and no barrel sock
then on feild action, when they shot a player they lifted there goggles and had a good laugh while the game was still in play.
so not impresed about the way the sport was show with compleate lack of safty for players, but the joe public would think nothing of it,bit gutted, that they showed a nice set up and runnied it,
oh and the lads they played against lmao.they were really lame, but you could tell they had some game,
well done to DYE and DRAX for the set up,would love to play on a field that good

EDIT ADDED: Cus I couldn't stand it any longer! It's launch, not lauch, or lunch, launch I tell ya. What is it, a comedy about impotence? TFP

I searched for 'Failure to Lauch', but couldn't find anything.
Not knowing what Lauch means was my first problem, and as I don't know what it means, maybe I myself fail to lauch on occasion, which might (or might not) prove to be embarassing (depending on what it means).

I've not seen it. But incase your wondering what gats were used, apparently it was Spyders.

FAILURE To Launch: it's a movie out now, and it apparently featurespaintball...in a good way! From a Kingman release, "Spyder andKingman go "Hollywood" in the movie premier of "Failure to Launch"Staring Mathew McConaughey & Sarah Jessica Parker. The Blockbustermovie which opens today will feature our very own Spyder & Ravenproducts including the Electra ACS, Fenix ACS, Pilot ACS, HP AirTanks, and Raven Gear including Goggles, Gloves, and NeckProtectors. The representation of paintball on such a massive stagewill put our sport in the spotlight on a national and global level."www.failuretolaunchmovie.com www.spyder.tv

Dude, I see your point - but they only did that so a gag worked ! Chill !!

A certain amount of artistic license is allowable I think. Especially as it's putting paintball as a sport out there to the masses ! ... And from a Sup Air perspective too ! ... which is a bonus to the tourney guys who moan eternally about it being perceived as a sport played by wannabe Rambos running round the woods decked out in camo gear !!

Only problem is my missus wants to come and try it out after seeing the film !

AJermstad - You sure ? Looked like Timmys with old viewloaders ...

i thought it was going to be a Horror film when i saw the Bell scene! omg, they had started the game while 'The lead Girlie' had her goggles above her head! it was frightening! and eveytime some1 got shot, the lifted their goggles!! aghh! i was squeezing the armrest at the pics! it was soooo frustrating to see 'accedents waiting to happen' like that. how could the pb companies who endorsed the scene (and i did see quite a few brands) not get a say in the safety aspect??? In my veiw, it shouldnt be shown, imagine how many new recball costomers are going to think its ok to lift goggles?? After seeing it it a film, some (and i do say SOME) people will not take safety briefings seriously....
