will i need a hater board in my marker to get this working or can it be used on its on?

The main feature is the wireless mode, so ideally you will want a Hater board in your marker. There is also a standard eyes-only mode but in this mode it seems to spin the motor really fast - Not sure if its supposed to be like this or if there is a way to turn it down.
