how do these things fit onto the gun, i know they sit like a foregrip, but surley theres gotta be a hole there for the gas to get into the gun?
does a normal forgrip block this up? is the hole usually covered when theres no forgrip at all?

just curious :)

depends purely on the marker.

If your talking about a marker you already own, you will need to look at the foregrip, usually the gas will enter the foregrip somewhere along its length (its bottom, or at the side), and there will be a hole in the top (if you unscrew it) where the gas enters the marker.

If this is the case then an expansion chamber should swap straight over. if that not that case, then more fiddling will be involved, and more will need to be known about the marker.

thats an automag. They are differant because they require the powersource (air/CO2) to be delivered direct to the back end of the marker. there fore there is and extra hose (at the top of that pic)
However, the gas line attached to the fore grip from the bottom line, is common in most markers.

Nope, Only early Mini Mags had hardline, most Mags these days have either Macroline (Plastic) or Braided hose (Wire wrapped), The amount of hosing in that picture is normal, it really doesn't get in the way when you're playing. (Or least it didn't when I used to play Tourny Woods-ball ;) )
