Mak, as much as I like boobies, and I do like boobies!, is your signature appropriate for a board that is going to be viewed by a lot of younger kids and their parents?

Rumour has it a big deal is imminent.

It will be a documentary about 'A day in a life of the best teams in paintball, Philly All Americans and Miami All Americans 2 and the best company in paintball, Smart Parts'...

Just what I heard ;)

Si, actually, that little rumour has been doing the rounds for a few months now but a one off angle like this isn't going to sustain the same number of NXL franchises as last year.
Something a lot more substantial and extended is going to be needed to keep the existing portfolio of franchise owners intact.
Who the hell wants to watch a documentary about a bunch of people / teams nobody outside of paintball has ever heard of ?

The league / event type presentation (as was originally proposed)would have to precede any production such as this documentary because you have to generate interest in a new sport before you can even begin to sell the idea of a documentary.
You can only do this by presenting the sport in its competitive state and allowing the spectacle and excitement of the sport to be assimilated by the viewing public.
This takes time.
Seems to me, if this goes ahead, it's a classic cart before the horse.

I think Dick Clark might well have something else up his sleeve coz if he hasn't, a lot of people are gonna lose a lot of money, an awful lot of money.
We'll see.
