Excited about PSP World Cup.

I don't know what it is but every year when the World Cup comes around I get excited like a kid at Christmas.

I think this will be my fifth or sixth World Cup now? and the anticipation is killing me. I'm having trouble focusing on anything else.

Maybe it's because it's my Birthday at World Cup? I first ever played paintball on my Birthday (20th of October), and so every year when WC comes around I'm celebrating another year of playing paintball while attending. This year it will have been 12 years of paintball for me!!!

It's a special cup for other reasons also, will this be the event to really bring paintball into the main stream? with Disney and the NXL/Dick Clark stuff? I'm playing X-ball. And I start my new job. I'm so excited I'm like a kiddy kid.

So I know there is a thread about which teams will be attending, but who else that I have or haven't met will be out there and should I be looking to meet?

Can't wait! Roll on Sunday! I've even almost gotten around to thinking about packing! Which for me this early is unheard of .

I'm not quite as old as that... yet...

But Bob Long is now 50! and he'll be there playing pro (5 Man I believe) now that's dedication!

I watched him play X-ball last weekend and he is still a very impressive player.

I just hope I am still playing at 50! so we'll see if I can stick it out till next year .
