I'll have more of an idea after the 5man at the weekend, i've only used it at training so far, but it is accurate. The bores are slighty longer than the ones for the Stiffi switch kits. You've gotta luv cammo tho...

It feels great to be honest, it is approx 1/2" shorter than the Hyper 2 once it is fitted.
I would say that I have medium sized hands and when I have hold of the reg, with my hand slid up underneath the On/Off, I have still got about 1/4" sticking out the bottom of my hand.

As I stated in a previous post, I was using the 6 at a Tourney over the weekend.

set up:
DM6 cleaned and lubed with Dow 33
LPR 3.75 Turns Out
Dwell 20
Evolve X95 Bolt
Evolve Pi Reg
VLoctity Hopper
Sly Equipment C/F Barrel (0.689)
Pro Cap "Blaze" Paint (Winter formula)

I set the gun up the day before the tourney at my local site. I increased the dwell to 20 from the stock 18 after previous experience with my DM5 and DMC in cold weather play. I left the LPR at what is was set to when it arrived(above).
The day started out cold with a slight wind to go with it. The temperature didn't get much above 40 all day....another day of cool ballin.

I personally do not trust those cronos in the crono stations after big jumps in readings between each machine i've used in the past, so I waited until I was on field to check the FPS. The field limit is 280 FPS, so the day before I set up my gun around the 270 mark to allow for the temperature increasing velocity during the coarse of the day.

I played all day without having to touch my regs and had no instances of shootdown. The gun was gentle on the paint and I only had 1 barrel break thru the days play. It was ball on ball accuracy, just ask my team mate who left his pack hanging out of a bunker on my opposite tape, which I mistook for one of the bad guys

With this days play out of the way and proving to myself that the X95(DM5) Bolt does work installed in the DM6, I thought it is time to start altering the setting to see how low I could take the LPR.

Today I started out cleaning and lubing the whole gun again....because I like to really. Seeing that the paint was .688, I swapped out barrel for this next test and used the stock Ultralite which is .688. With just air, I turned the LPR all the way in which gives you an Cycle pressure of 25 psi to the gun. Guess what...bang bang bang! wow
Then comes the good part, I get to redesign the colour schemes in the back garden :D I was shooting from indoors out because it is still cold today, I know...wuss.
I turned the LPR out half a turn(approx 30 psi Cycle Pressure), a couple of clearing shots and then 284, 277, 284, not bad I thought.
I then turned the LPR out another quarter turn(approx 35 psi CP), Bingo...two more clearing shots and then 287,286 and 286...nice.

I'm sure that if using this set up whilst playing in colder temperatures, you will get some drop off but it is just a case of a tweak here and tweak there, which I will do over the following weeks to come.

I conclude that X95 Bolt does work well and twinned with the Pi reg; it turns your gun into an accurate killing machine.

Well done Dye and Evolve
