Go in your kitchen and get a wooden spoon...take the bolt cap off teh gun, take teh barrel off the gun....push the wooden spoon in the barrel end (narrowest pasrt first or it wont fit!)...then push teh bolt assembly out...put wooden spoon in toolbox for use on DM's, Proto's and Shockers...deny any knowledge of any wooden spoon ever being in your house, when teh Mrs asks...Originally posted by Beaker
I've used both and the Orange was good, had a couple of sealing issues at first but some grease and bedding in helped. Efficiency was improved marginally, but i was using it through last winter so never got a warm weather run at it.
Then I tried the Evolve afterwards and that was similar and has been performin for the last 6 months or so without even lubing and has stayed in my gun for the simple reason is it's stuck - can't get the f***** out again even if I wanted to

You know in the WW1 blackadder where he tries to get a discharge by sticking pencils up his nose and banging his head on a table. Well imagine DM5 + spoon + table - tried that.
Thing is, it works damm well and hasn't needed to come out (yet), Only lube I do is push the bolt into the breech, lube it via the feedneck and that's it.
Personally I think it's in there for life...
