quote from martin evolve on pb nation

Hi

I went down to see John Soster yesterday to let him shoot the Evolve Timmy kit and he was impressed and gave me the thumbs up, he does know is stuff.

It does take time to design and deliver a product that is a new technology, I will not rush it out to just get it to market, to make a fast buck and then find that you guys are not happy with it, some Company’s may do this but Evolve does not.
So again I am sorry for the delay in getting it to market, but I do want to give you guy’s the best products possible first time around.

The Timmy kits should be released early next year and will cost around $125.00

Here are some pics of the Evolve Timmy kit and the internals.

Dunno, I'll tell you when I get to test them when I get around to ordering a Pi.

The 2L has pretty mad recharge anyway so I doubt the differences will be anything other than academic.

I'd probably go for the Pi anyway as it costs less (£40 vs ~£65 ) and AKA have a pretty messed up distribution channel in Europe....
