Hey ladies and gents, something else to cogitate..
The question: how many little metal disc thingies (belville washers?) should there be inside the belsales lpr?
The story;
Recently bought a second hand evolution lpr (the one on the front block) for my cocker, stuck it and a nexus ram on and the blooming thing leaked worse than my granny.
After a hell of a lot of messing around, and serious scares that i'd destroyed my noid, have finally got the gat working with the original lpr.
However, during aforementioned fumbling, i found out that the belsales reg wasn't regulating at all, no matter how far in/out the end twisty knob was turned. After taking it apart, none of the o-rings appear worn, but i can still blow air through into the main chamber when there is no pressure from the spring. At the moment there are 5 washers, and they're arranged properly ()()( etc... Should there be more? (This would mean that air couldn't get into the chamber without some pressure from the spring). Could anything else be causing the problem?
