Is the evlution 2 any good? Does anybody use one? How does ity compare to the halo?

eVLution 2, any good?

Any good? Yes. Lighter and holds more paint than a Halo but not quite as fast. New neck design much stronger than original but placement can seem a bit awkward at first as does the lid design.
im' not so sure about this, but i have heard there will be a new board coming out for the evo2 in mid feb....22bps, if this is true and they keep it at the same price or dont' raise it much, the halo could be history

And its harder to clean if you get paint up into the feed neck, plus I'm pretty sure once another loader comes close to the Halo's speed we'll see an update for the Halo board to keep it ahead!

Apparently there already is new software for the HALO which speeds things up.
And the EVOII is good.......when it works, great capacity and I like the set back stance. Although, got to say the more I use it the less impressed I am with BE's quality though. It's REALLY picky on having super fresh batteries or it just refuses to work and the fit between the parts isn't great.
It's like the Brabus Merc (super fine, built to last and still sh*t quick) and a TVR (quick when it works but bits fall off)
Halo- slightly faster bps, normally sits about a quarter inch or less lower than the evl2.
evl2- 40-60 bucks cheaper. rounded design has been called ugly but ive had bounces off my evl that woulda broken on the halo. can combat the higher sitting by cutting down the feedneck.
personally, as you can tell, i prefer the evl2. the eggy has saved me with a few bounces that easily would have broken on the halo. that and since the eggy is a little cheaper isnt all that bad. i shoot a tequila matrix and i use the evl2. havent had any problems.

If you're worried about what shape your hopper is in terms of the difference in hits taken that it will make, you're actually more likely to get shot right in the arse while thinking about it instead of the rest of what's going on.
