Here from a german Paintball Newsgroup. Look out its in german.

Perhaps somebody could translate it in english ? Here it is:

Und DANN will A.O.

Just to give you a short idea whats going on, the post says that the Organizer of Euroball 4 has not yet a contract with "Hannover Messe", were the Event should take place;- But he´s anouncing it everywere that it takes place at this location. Take care. And never forget last Year ;-)

Translation, ...

Hmmm, ...
it basicaly means that the guy, Achim Ollp, who was in charge of the EUROBALL tournament which has been an absolut desaster last year is going to do it again. BUT he already takes entryfees of teams who are willing to play it again. He as well announced to held it at a big fairarea, Messe Hannover, bigger, better, ... is promised by Achim Ollp...

FUNNY IS:

Some players justed thought would be clever to ask the company who is running the tradefairarea and guess what... they didnt know anything about the event, only that there were some request of doing something with balls. In his registration form the organisor of the Euroball A.O. also says that entries are not refundable if something happens, guess what this could mean...

Last not least the Euroball organisor tries to connect his event somehow with the Maxs European Indoor masters held one week before (26.11.-28.11.) in the Bavarian Ostbayernhalle. BUT this hasnt to do anything with Euroball. Maxs European Indoor Masters is run by CMC/ Maxs and like the Maxs Masters in Bitburgn well organised in the Nuremburg area.

Yep, that's a good recap of what the original post said. Thanks Mueller.

In all fairness it has to be said that it seems the main reason Euroball last year went wrong is because they tried some new gadgetry that looked very promising on paper, but seemed like they hadn't tested it properly as it failed abysmally when the event came and they had no backup systems in place, which is stupid.
In previous years Euroball has mostly been a quality event.
With this bit of info, you can now draw your own conclusions.

Somebody posted in a german portal that the new Euroball would be smaller than the last one. It will be the same size like the first Euroball with 2 Fields and around 30 Teams.

I think its a good thing as long as ALL BILLS have been paid in advance to secure this event.

I know the paying morale from the last Euroball and it wasnt that good.

So this year if you want a big tourney millenium style go to the MEIM. But dont forget the Euroball4 one week later and watch how it worked out. And then your teams should discuss what they should play next year.

If Achim get things right perhaps he could carry on with the tourney that was once a good one.

My 2 Cents ;)
