Euro speed problem...

Hey Guys, Ive finally decided to get a mains adaptor for my angel euro speed. Im tired of trying to charge it in the car with that cigarette lighter adaptator. The only problem is i dont know where from, Bought one from maplins but on the power tip that plugs in to the marker, the black plastic around it is too large to fit into the hole, so a connection cannot be made. It seems like wdp have made the power tip casing (black plastic stuff) thinner so it can reach the connection so that you can only use that. Has anyone else come across this problem and has the solution?

The best answer is to continue using the standard Angel charger, but plug it into something like this so you can run off UK mains.

Totally agree - that's very similar to what I use and it works perfectly!

I live in the US, but I've been using a similar converter (110 to 12v DC instead of 230. Same exact thing otherwise though) since my LCD. Charged my LCD, IR3, A4 and my friends Speed 04 with it with no probs. You can use one just fine.
