Apparently the sensor was pulled off so they don't work.

Thanks

Open up the grip and make sure the eyes are connected onto the board and into the correct plug.

Remove both of the eye covers and ball detents and check out if there is any gunk on the eyes. Try and avoid prodding them too much, one of the best things to clean them with is a jet of CO2 or air to sweep away anything nasty.

If still no joy then its prob a good idea to pop them out and take a closer look. Removing Angel eyes if they've never been taken out before is a bit of a fiddle. Don't tug on the ribbon cable too my and it might be worth using a thin, blunt and non-abrasive tool to push them out from inside the body. Eventually they'll pop out whereby you can inspect the surface of the lense for any damage. Also pay close attention to how the sensor connects to the ribbon, check it's not loose or split.

If the eye sensor system is shafted in any way it's usually better to just replace the lot instead of faffing to try and bodge repair them. Changing the eyes isnt too complex, just unscrew off the grip frame following the above steps and unthread the ribbon cable from the body and replace.

Overall it's not too hard a process. It might be worth downloading the manual from the wdp website as that offers guidance on eye maintenance.
