Hey guys,
I was shooting my Etha today at training and all of a sudden it started spluttering and shooting, for say the first pull then not shooting for a good 5 seconds of constant trigger pulling, then several balls would roll out...so on so forth.

Had 2 day old Duracell Procell 9V in before I started using it and I couldn't get it to chrono above 260. Changed it for a brand new one later one and managed to chrono it to 293~ and used it for 2 games until this problem occurred. Any ideas?

Thanks

have a look at the oring that the bolt slides on on the propshaft part (9NBR70 i think) and see about replacing that. if its swollen or damaged it can cause the bolt to drag and fire inconsistently. also worth checking the battery because sometimes you can get landed with a dud, so it might have been fine a couple days ago but not now.

check the bolt tip is fitted properly. my lad had some problems a few weeks back and the bolt tip was getting snagged somehow, swapped it for a new one from the parts kit.

It's more and likely the battery. I have had brand new procells do this especially in the cold weather. May also be worth checking the poppet spring. If yours is one of the early Etha's they had a problem with this. Planet now offer a free upgrade to irradicate this issue.
