what is the maximum input pressure a etha can handle from a bottle?
for example is it safe to use a bottle with a 1200 psi reg?

I'm most likely wrong, but I'm sure the SL3 Reg means that any output of bottle can be used, but I'm sure Someone will be along that knows better.

Morning,
Whilst the SL3 regulator could handle it, we would NOT recomend using a bottle with a 1200psi output and subjecting teh hose and fittings to that much pressure - simply put, it is an unecessary risk. Use a maximum of 850psi output instead.

Cheers Nicky T

i thought that would be the case but its always best to ask ;)
the fittings can take it but some macro is ony rated to 1000psi it was more if the reg could handle it.
only reason iasked is that i run a 1200psi reg on my 1.5L bottle, and would save me taking 2 bottles but not a problem though as i have a 850psi on my 1.1L :)

Thanks for the prompt reply :)
