etek3 battery harness broke away from board

So i pulled my marker out today to fully service it and found that the last walk-on wasn't too kind to my poor gun, Im down at paintfest and assuming you will be there to provide tech support so any help in the matter is greatly appreciated .

right the problem is that the harness that attaches to the battery broke away from the solder on the board and needs to be re-soldered with a new harness, i am hoping to not need a board replacement but if you have any how much will that set me back just incase?

Stoney possibly didn't see your post (Friday can be a little busy) i don't know off the top of my head about techs at paintfest but i doubt who ever is there would have soldering equipment with them, best bet would be to contact the customer service guys nick.t@planeteclipse.com or robert.p@planeteclipse.com or give them a call on Monday 9.30-6.00 and they will advise what to do, you are probably going to need to send either the board or the gun in so it can be looked at.

dang looks like ill be needing a replacement board for paintfest then, do you know if there are any for sale? ill phone up CS on monday and see about getting the broken one shipped out and repaired.

give cs a call on Monday and they will let you know the best plan of attack, could be you can send the board in to be looked at and collect it at paintfest. replacement boards will be available but no idea of the price sorry (i don't work on the cs/sales side)

there will be a few techs @ paintfest .. one of is mark smith aka ninja he works for Npf .... he has all the gear and he will be there .. he should be able to sort you out

Sorry yeah was a little busy this week not had chance to reply

Robert our tech will be at paint fest, put he wont be doing any board soldering on site, you will have to send the marker to us to get done

if you get the marker to us for wednesday he can get it done for you he can also bring it to paint fest for you
