ETEK2/Ego8 differences...

Well, I found two nice second hand markers;
an Etek 2 with the Star frame, zick kit, cure bolt, c-level feedneck
an Ego 8

Now, as far as *I* can tell the only differences between the two markers in their current condition is that the Ego 8 has a slightly better barrel selection(?), and the grip frame doesn't end in a block square shape (no big deal, I'm not buying it 'cuz it looks pretty!)... or am I really missing something for the £110 difference?

Ego 08 is still lighter i believe.
That is about it, that i can think of. But brand new prices that upgraded etek 2 is probably about the same price anyway as the ego 08.

I'm not really fussy about the lighter thing, got a 45/45 anyway, although my 68/45 is in America.

Etek's use LED's where as the Ego's use an LCD screen.
Have a look at this thread, Lovetone mentions some differeneces between the Etek and Ego6, check those for the Etek2 and the Ego8

if the etek2 has a star frame, which he mentioned it did, then it also has an lcd screen

i would go for the 08

Oops, sorry... I did try and look for a pic of a star frame... but didnt look hard enough
