etek problem

I have had this problem a few times (seems to always occur at the most inappropiate times), the bolt fires but goes so far forward it actually gets past the detents and gets stuck. Can anybody tell me why this may occur, as im a bit stumped?

Sounds like a rammer o-ring problem, the bolt on a full cycle should always go past the detents.

I think its getting stock due to a leak from one of the rammer o-rings that seals the rammer on its return journey, have a look at them and see mate

Clean the rammer housing and lube the rammer.

lube... everything. that you should obviously.

if it only happens after you have taken the bolt out, make sure the bolt pin is in the rammer notch and not infront of it.

stripped, cleaned and lubed. Tested it this morning, no problems so far.
