The guns fires spot on it did break paint once :( but been fine since. I've noticed the bolt is starting to wear on the edges ?

Just wondering if its normal ? seems excessive after about 2000 shots that's all.

The eclipse oil I use on the bolt seems to go dry crazy fast and I've been told only use oil but if it drys within a few games is that right ?

Can you put too much oil on as two drops wouldn't last a single game =/.

Cheers,
Fishy

Start of the day I did that just two drops but noticed 3 hours later it was dry as a bone but can you put too much on as I'd of thought too much is better than not enough ?

Are all those marks due to not enough oil or just normal wear ?

2 drops every time you clean the bolt, as said above. And to much oil will travel onto the balls and cause winging

Normal wear, also the bolt is delrin so should be self lubricating.
If really worried then get a TechT hush bolt, the orings on them seal the breech helping prevent the actual bolt 'scraping' against the sides.

I was always told to put only a drop of oil onto the orings, just enough to stop them drying out.
Excessive oil on the bolt will attract dirt and grit, that is what you could have been experiencing....
As long as there is not much drag on the bolt when moving, causing too much inconsistency, and you dont break paint, there is nothing to worry.

Actually I know what you mean now the barrel inside is quite oily to the touch so it wants to be almost dry with only the oil rings lubricated is what everyone is saying ?

If you keep the gun in its box for a month etc does the oil dry out why re-lubricate it if you did that after a game ?

Clean off all the oil already covering every thing, and put a couple drops on the bolt orings and leave it alone till you clean it next. It dsont need much if any oil. And it will dry out after a year or so, so really dont worry
