Whats the best setting for the dwell?

set up mode is different, you should get a little random light show when you enter set up mode

Dwell varies from gun to gun. do you have access to a chrono? there is a process to sweet spot it but without a chrono its pointless

I will be corrected if i am wrong but because the etek like egos are elctro-pneumatics and differ because of of solenoid operating times, cycles lubrication etc it takes some breaking in. about -4 full cases should soften up th inline reg, if thats the case

wind the inline reg (velocity adjustment) anti-clockwise until it hits the stop. turn it clockwise 2 and a half turns then chrono. should be between 275-280.

Drop your dwell right down to say 5 mS. (the velocity will drop) increase dwell until velocity spikes(won't get any higher) then drop it 2-3 mS this is the optimum dwell for your gun/ solenoid combination.
