Etek barrel CP,UL, other?

Hi,

Just gathering a vague list of items along with an etek, and i have decided to purchase a barrel after my first outing with it.
Now i know that most people will proably say UL, however that is a bit pricy and i am wondering if there is an other recomended alternatives that etek uses have liked?

I was looking at a two peice CP barrel, anybody used one on a marker? i know that they are a big bored barrel so??

Any others?

I got a CP 2 piece kit for my EGO 06.
Fantastic barrels.
To be honest I dont think there really is not much in it anymore. You will get loads of different answers from loads of different people, but I now use ultralights.
Look in the classifieds as you can pick up a complete UL for around £40

Ok, thanks guys. Will scan the classfields in the near furture. Choice is now between an UL and a CP 2 peice.

you can get a CP new for £30 id go with that

get a .693 and your laughing (14 or 16 inch length)

Well, the 2 peice on LIPS, have a 696. back, thats a bit too large is it not?
It is also £30 excluding VAT .

I always use a big bore and never have a problem.

What do you mean? As in there is no real differnce between high end barrels.

No,
I mean, I dont think there is much difference in performance, accuracy and range anymore. If you were using c02 and playing in the woods you may find you can tell a bit of difference in barrels. Personally I think they are more for looks these days. i might be wrong but thats my opinion

Take a look at the Un1tec barrel from lucky.

Its a straight bore barrel kit so it doesnt have a step in the bore, this reduces barrel breaks and means that it shoots through better and makes your gun quieter.

The way it screws together means it can never be misaligned. Plus If you change markers, its only £10 for a new back.

Its the lightest aluminum barrel out.
Bores range from .685 to .696. (.689 or .693 is the best size for most paints)

And its a little cheaper than the CP....
