Etek 4 LT Problems

I got a etek 4 LT in black brand new about 2 months ago and i took apart the reg tonight and found that the spring was solid rust (pic attached) and the reg body wont come apart (comes away from frame just not the two seperate parts). It still holds air and shoots ok but can you send out new bits to get it back up to scratch.

Also i should actually ask is it ok to shoot this with the spring in that condition? i am going to stalingrad on sunday so if not need to get sorted ASAP

First up, is it registered at the Warranty Centre if so / once registered. Drop customer.service@planeteclipse an email with your name, serial number and address and a description of the problem and they'll sort you out.

Out of curiousity, how did you get the spring out, if It can't be opened?

Unscrewed from the frame and screwwd the adjuster in and little push and all internals come out the end. And yeh all registered will email them tomorrow. Donyou think it will be ok to use if I dont get sorted by the weekend?

Should be, I'm going to assume that you've used it when it's been in that condition before. Might not be the most consistent, but judging from the picture, the rust is more aestheticly displeasing than anything, so shouldn't have any significant detrimental effect on the marker.
