Etek 3 vs Ego 8(or 9)

Dear all. I have a question considering etek 3 and ego 8,9. If I am correct the Etek 3 is born on 2009 same as ego 9 and theoretically they both came with same bolt and rammer? Is it cure 2 and z2?

Why I am comparing ETEK 3 AM with EGO 8 'cos they are same year and have similar price (around £200).. So can anyone tell me the differences between them( barrel, bolt, rammer, board, trigger) And if the price is similar which marker is worth buying?
And what about ego 9? (what differences in default setup,price etc)

PS - let's exclude EMORTAL board and LT TO AM upgrade and just take ETEK 3 AM.

Obviously has a different solenoid.

But apart from the Etek 3 and the Ego 8 have the same:
Regulator (S3)
LPR (SL)
Zick 1 Kit
Cure Bolt.

The differences between the Ego 8 & Ego 9:
The Ego 9 has the Cure 2 Bolt System.
New QEV-less Solenoid.
Is lighter than the Etek 3.
Has the new style circuit board that makes noises and a game timer.
Lower operating pressure. (Somewhere about 170-160 I think. )

Also the Etek trigger is less adjustable and doesn't have an OPTO sensor on the board.

If it have the same inline reg, why it have different cap? ETEK 3 have same cap as ego 10/11.

As a rule of thumb I'd say the solenoid is better on Ego markers, I don't know the fancy specs behind it all but I'm saying yes.

However the Ego 8 uses a QEV block / Diaphragm that have been known to cause issues when they wear out, and have since been discontinued so they are hard to come by these days.

The Ego 8/9/10 all use the old S3 Style Inline the same HPR found in the Etek 3.

The Etek 4 uses the SL3 Inline as found on the SLS,11/S and CSL Ego markers. (as well as the Etha and Geo2/3)

I don't quite grasp what "cap" you are talking about.

You'd also have to buy and fit an SL3 Reg to get it to the same specs but the default SL3 can't be fitted to the Etek 3 due to differences in the FRM.
