Etek 3 Barrel upgrade & bore size

Hello, and sorry I couldn't find a more suitable section of the forums to post on!

Ok, so i'm planning on getting a new barrel for my Etek 3. I think i'm gunna go with the Dye ultrlite. The problem is im not sure what bore size would be suitable.

The advice i've been given so far is to get a bore size significantly different to that of the etek's stock barrel; that way I can use whichever barrel the paint fits best on the day.

Basically, I need to know the bore size of my Etek 3's stock barrel, and what bore size I should get for a second barrel. Any advice?

I believe the bore for the etek 3 should be the standard 0.693, and it appears most barrell kits supply a range of 683, 686, 689, 692. On advice for barrel size advice i shamefully can't help you.

Stock bore size is definitely 0.693. And also you can buy Shaft 3 barrel back kit wich include 2 backs 0.689 and 0.685 bore size.

New Planet Shaft 4 barrels should be out in the next few weeks - won't be cheap but you generally you pay for what you get.

Unitech barrel's being the only exception that springs readily to mind!

Etek3 front is not compartible with shaft4. For use it you have buy full shaft4 kit (front+ 3 backs). With shaft3 you can buy only 2 backs and you'll get greate barrel kit for decent money.
