Etek 3 AM vs Ego 8

etek 3am will probably be used less as will be newer,etek am can be upgraded to an immortal board im guessing with display for modes ect whereas the ego 8 will come with a display as standard, personally i prefer a display to flashing lights, ego 09 has the best of both markers have you thought about buying 1 of them?

pretty much no difference between an 08 & 09 internally.
Difference between ego 08 and etec is quality and proven track record.

Ego 08 has won tournies at the highest level in the respective year so i guess its preference tbh.

With so many end of year clear outs you will see loads of egos going cheap. I would recomend holding out for an 09 ego which you should pick up at around 300. Although the 08 is a great gun, side by side with an 09/10 it looks dated. At the end of the day its up to you though, as mentioned previously, the etec will be newer with less use (probably) but the quality and reliability of the ego will make up for that. In car terms the ego's the 911 and the etec's the boxter. Both will do the job well, but an ego is... well, an EGO!
