they're excellent starter guns. Incredibly reliable too, look after it and it will last as long as you want it to. I've had one for about 2 years and it's never let me down at a tournament! They also have room for some upgrades, such as a cure bolt to make it shoot a bit smoother. It also comes with pre-set ramping, so it's ideal if you're looking to start competing in tournaments too. Although you can't see it very well, it's what i'm using in the picture up there ^

Plus it's a planet eclipse, so you'll never be stuck for tech help if you need it!
Definitely a better choice over an Ion, Proto rail or other beginners marker in my opinion.

Personally, I would look at an ego 06 - I have used both guns and have found the ego to be more reliable, and less harsh on paint.

I would go for an ego if you could stretch your funds.... plus you would save on ear plugs Eteks are so LOUD!!!! :D
