they're excellent starter guns. Incredibly reliable too, look after it and it will last as long as you want it to. I've had one for about 2 years and it's never let me down at a tournament! They also have room for some upgrades, such as a cure bolt to make it shoot a bit smoother. It also comes with pre-set ramping, so it's ideal if you're looking to start competing in tournaments too. Although you can't see it very well, it's what i'm using in the picture up there ^
Plus it's a planet eclipse, so you'll never be stuck for tech help if you need it!
Definitely a better choice over an Ion, Proto rail or other beginners marker in my opinion.

as dodge gnome said you can't go wrong with an etek but you will be labelled as being inside the box

They mean it's the budget tourny marker for the masses, they do the job of the higher end markers but not as well.
Personally, I would look at an ego 06 - I have used both guns and have found the ego to be more reliable, and less harsh on paint.
