I know the only thing different to the LT is that the AM is Metal but just wondering if having that metal frame makes more reliable and better to shoot?

Having shot both I can see no difference at all
I prefer and owened the LT it's light and if you go in hard there is some give in the body.

dunno why there has always been so much confusion, all that is different is the eye covers, feedneck and the gripframe (which is exact same shape as lt).
absolutely no difference in performance at all, only difference is weight. payoff is meant to be that although heavier, it feels more rigid. personally i'd rather save a fair whack of money for a lighter gun because if somethin goes wrong that you land on your gun or something, jack wood said himself the lt would break just as easily as the am would bend.
LT is better cos u land n the plastic that will bend back into its original shape. but the metal will bend and stay in that shape. if you want to buy one asap go for the LT then save over time to get the AM.
think one of the main diff's is, if u upgrade to the lcd screen, u can just straight fit it to the AM were as u would have to buy the AM upgrade for the LT first.
as far as i'm aware if you buy the lt it cannot be upgraded with the emortal board, the only upgrade you can get for the lt is the ccu kit ( all metal ) whereas the am can take the other board

yeah and no, you can get the APE Rampage OLED board which fits both Lt and AM frame, this also has an LCD in the side
If you get the etek 3 LT you can get an emortal board upgarde and all metal parts cheaper than buying the am with all of that plus i have done that
