I know i should be posting this in the newbies section but as im looking at buying some kit i thought i would post here.

I am basically looking for a marker and anything else to get started. Unfortuantly when i look at kits and starters etc.. i understand very little of what is been explained. I would really appriate if anyone could point me in the right direction for places to get this stuff from or even things for sale on the forums that would be ok and yet not too expensive as it will be my first marker and dont want to go over the top with it.

Again any help / advice anyone can give would be awesome and i look forward to hearing from you. :)

Hey mate, feel free to add me to msn and i'll happily answer any of ur questions.

Ok, i would suggest that for your first marker i would look for a (wait for it Dskize) second hand ion.

They are real easy to work with, take no time at all to get used to and most importantley will hold its own on any field

Loads on the forums

but like i said add me if you want to know anything

if you intend on tourny play in the future then yes an ion is a good starter gat, look for a nice 1.1 with a few years left, and a egg hopper or if you can stretch a reloader b or halo b.

if you want to do woods, and thats it, then plannet are selling good cheap spyders, ie pilot, and if you want mil-sim kingman mr1 or mr2, but the best milsim has gotta be sp8.

if the budget can stretch i would honestly reccomend a e1 zero b autococker of some description, they are cheap, and when setup right, on par with any tourney gat.

if you can get a go on any, find the one that suits you best

as much as i dread agreeing with mike on anything Ion related (shudders..) a second hand Ion would be a good starter marker..

You can usually pick em up for around the £100 mark.. Second hand air bottles and hoppers are pretty easy to find here too

heya fella, welcome to the wonderful world of balling. from here in expect the following:

1) your wallet to always have this wonderful echo when you ask yourself where your cash is

2) memorable journeys to tournaments with guys who fart too much and/or drive for 2 hrs in the wrong direction (big ste)

3) A warm feeling of knowing youre doing something that doesnt benefit society in anyway but feels amazing and will keep you hooked forever more.

4) oh and I nearly forgot, a brotherhood of ballers who will have your back whether youre at yuor lowest or highest.

:D

as for the marker bro, I'm down with these guys, an ion is a great peice of kit to start off with and to be honest is also upgradable so will keep you gatting suckers for a while. Its also flexible in terms of what type of paintball youre going to play. be it scenario/ recball or tournament theres upgrades and add-on's which will suite your own game.

emails spyda_mann@hotmail.com if you ever need any help dude. I sure as hell aint the brightest bulb in the box, but i'll always try for a baller bro.
