the epiphany won't fire, if i try to take the velocity above 220-230:confused:
if i only raise it slightly above that it stops me from speedballing so i end up having to use one finger or it just cuts out, much higher than 230 and the gun just won't fire, if i open the grip up i can feel some air from under the electronics or the solionoid when i press the trigger and also only when i have the gun above 230 fps
but except for that it dosen't do any thing above 230 fps.
the gun was working fine then i took it apart to clean it, loobed it all, firebolt ect, the only thing i did change was the insert to the second smallest but when i got to the site the gun wouldn't fire so i changed the insert to the origional and still nothing,
i had put the gun away at a volocity of 260 last time and so i turned down the velocity and it fired.
i don't even have a clue wat could be causing it the trigger's fine, at first i thought it could be the eyes but that doesn't really add up.
anyway thanks for reading, if uv got any idea wats causing it please dont hesitate.
cheers mike
come on guys i'm still looking for answers!!

all banjos connected okay? no tubes inside are loose at all? did you service reg or just bolt?

Did you put too much lube on the bolt or maybe not enough?

Have you changed any settings on the board?

air venting out the solenoid is normal

New battery would be the first thing to do.
Have you changed any of the board settings.
Whats the pressure reading on the front guage?

I noticed you said it stopped you speedballing, do you mean shooting at high amounts of balls per second?
Are you using a High pressure regged bottle or a low pressure regged bottle?
Have you stripped the front reg down?

i didn't touch the reg, no tubes loose that i can see
can i change the setings of the gun without a battery in it, cause when ever i got close to touchin the programming but the batery was out? the pressure gauge is reading about 220.
i think the batterys fine but i ll try that, cause the gun is only lik 3 months old and fired about 8000 paintballs.
thanks

not sure about epiphany but ions with firebolts only need about 140 - 170 psi if I remember correctly, that was with a QEV too though.

possibly check the banjo fittings to make sure there isnt any rubbish blocking the holes?

is this the first time you have serviced the marker?

220 is way to high, you risk damaging your solenoid with that. Start with around 160.
You should be able to get to the programming button by removing the two screws on the left hand side of the grip (looking from back of gun) you do not need to remove the battery.
I would definitely check the battery as the one you get with it, is a cheap and cheerful one.

its an epiphany - the operating pressure will vary from 180-280psi depending on insert colour, bolt, qev, etc.

which colour insert do you use?

make sure the battery is fresh.
the epiphany does funny things if the batery isn't really fresh.

where is your dwell set?
