hi guys, i have a smart parts epiphany which i believe to be set up correctly and yet im getting all sorts of figures when using a chrono, between 265-300+ fps just want to know if this is normal, and if they do suffer from this is it just a case of getting a new reg to help with the issue, its also running with a 360' qev, not sure if that matters, thanks a lot, daz

I would guess your dwell is wrong and is more then llikely to low.

Before you do anything chnage the battery 2 or 3 times with new good quality 9volts.

Then read all of this...

http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/paintguns/smartparts/ion_calc/

Then do what it says. Also a poor paint to bore match is recommended :D

(at a guess i would say about 20 - 25 on the dwell and make sure the QEV is properly cleaned inside during stripping as it gums up if to much lube is used. If your playing straight semi use the thinest of the 3 cans, if your playing ramp use the middle can, if your using reballs and need your fps low use the thickest can or of course just play around with it until you are happy)

If that isnt the problem there is a million and 1 vids on youtube how to clean a reg for a ion / epiphany have a look and try that. If still no joy post back up :D
