After review & debate on the whole Maxs Masters/Enemy situation, the Millennium Series Disciplinary Committee has recommended to the Board that the players from both Enemy teams should be banned until April 22nd, 2004.
Both teams where in violation of rule 35.5 which states: Any team that plots with opponents to set scores will be disqualified from the tournament and all members of the team playing at the time of the infraction shall be suspended for one year from playing any Millennium event.
Our decision was based on the fact that, the rule was in the rulebook before the tournament and the ignorance of the rules is not a defence. As a matter of fact, if they had even read last years rulebook they would have seen that such an infraction would have meant a lifetime ban in previoius years.
